No Answer 02:13
Somethings crawling – call someone out. I’m teething for it: a sharper mouth. Smoke is forming – call someone out. The house is boarded – alone for now. Strength is calming – call someone out. Received a warning – I’m on the ground. Blood is clotting – call someone out. The house is left to the lost and found. Good morning old evening. I missed you – was sleeping. Not even a greeting, I get it, you’re leaving. Remember my patterns. These shapes as I’m breathing.

Wader 03:59
Well, we discussed our older lives, the conversation took my arm. Guided this heavy, vacant eye line to motivation in the dark. Well, my mind cracked like the glass smashed – half empty from the start. Careful, somehow you made feathers from the shards. Well what use is it when I choke and crumble at the thought of jumping in and getting what I want? Oh, God, I got too ahead of myself. Stumbling on these old floors. Holding on, I’m anything but stable and waking up the creaking boards. After my mind cracked like the glass smashed I was picking at my faults. Strange shaped, though somehow you weren’t puzzled by the parts. Well what use is it when I choke and crumble at the thought of jumping in and getting what I want? Well I’ll wade and wade until night turns to day. And that ship of fools? Man, they won’t even have me. I found solace in knowing I can make sense of the parts. Well I’ll wade and wade until dry land is what I’m on. I’ll keep making these mistakes but, man, there’s nothing I can’t learn from. Well what use is it when I choke and crumble at the thought?

The covers kind of beat up; wrinkled, crooked on the shelf. Laid next to newer models, standing up requires help. We struggle with the content: ink and paper hand in hand while twisted at the waist and always running out of sand. Halfway through the journey, shit, we’re broken down again. Used all the fossil fuels, looks like we’ll have to use our legs. If yours don’t work I’ll carry you upstairs into your room. God, give me that chance, man. I’ve got things to undo. And we have the “pleasure” of listening to our complaints so small with our mouths so full while our forests fall dead and our substance grows dull. Just waiting for the next pay, now. “The rent, please." Not comfortable for long. We’ve got things to undo.

My four white walls offer new ways to say out loud what I’d not say. While the paint ages peach I’m sewing up torn old speech. Take a seat. Wait to speak. Time is slow today. There’s a moving process in my head, I’ve boxed a few lines you once said. I won’t be losing progress to sour nonsense. Or a guilty conscience. I’m full of lead. Not concerned but content in the middle. You said, you said… Don’t want to win this slow rat race. A pointless title – not for me. To raise my voice is an option I know about. Won’t eat scraps from the yard or get choked out. Not concerned but content in the middle. You said, you said to “find anything in nothing”. Find anything in nothing. We’re all proof that time exists without the swings, without the ticks. Even if it goes so unnoticed. We’re all proof attention slips. We’re all proof that time exists. We’re not a proof of purchase. And God damn we don’t go unnoticed.
